To adjust CPM Flexion or Speed:
1. Press the MENU key once. You are now in the set mode. Do not press menu key more than once. If you happen to press menu key more than once, press stop and then go back into menu again by pressing it one time.
2. Press the FLEX button (leg bending icon) and then press the plus or minus buttons to set the degrees where you want. The EXT (leg straight icon) should be left at -5 or -10 as that is all the way flat. You may also set the speed the same way by first pressing the turtle icon when in set mode and then the plus or minus buttons to the desirable speed. Press the stop key to exit setup mode. Please do not adjust other settings.
3. Get back into the machine and press START and the CPM will go between those parameters you just set.
4. To make the CPM reverse directions, press the STOP key and START again and it will now go in the opposite direction.
5. If by chance you lock the hand controller. Hold down the + and – keys at the same time for 3 seconds. This will unlock the hand controller.
6. Please talk to your doctor about setting the parameters each day and how long he wants you to use the CPM each day.
